I'll be attempting my first steaming effort this weekend ... how wet should I be letting the felt get as I steam it? Watching video's, it looks like I just pass the area of interest thru the steam a few times and proceed to work on it, but then I saw a couple of videos where the hatter doing it... -

I have a lapel pin that I really like, but I've only worn a suit jacket/Blazer four times in the past four years (2 funerals & 2 weddings), so they don't get used. I was wondering, is there a way to turn a lapel pin into a hat ribbon pin? I can't imagine the pin and backer would be all that... -

Okay, hat comes out of the packaging, look it over, take some photos, maybe try it on (as long as it smells and looks as clean in person as the auction photos did), wrap in plastic and place in freezer for a week. Got it. pat----
