Just picked up a Corazzo summer bike jacket the ‘Speedway’ for about a quarter RRP in a sale, very light with mesh chest panel. Came with KNOX armour which I won’t be using due to owning a Knox armoured under shirt.- bn1966

Result! FB is still covered in these bandits advertisements, plenty of people are falling for it...$50 Eastmans jackets, remote control Willys jeeps for $40. If I see them I just comment SCAM, have heard nothing back from FB after reporting a load of them but then again FB makes vast sums from...- bn1966

That’s fantastic, really like it and the press studs just finish it off (different effect with the buttons). Imagine it will be great for summer, a few more creases and some wear in, doesn’t shout at you like some jackets / shirt, very cool, set me thinking about similar in unlined goat suede.- bn1966

You may well be right about the last and materials, had a comment that they are the narrowest boots I’ve been seen in. Good post, thanks I’m down the compeed route & my feet are covered in a patchwork, using Vaseline before walking now and thin socks. Attacking the leather with conditioner and potatoes in the toe box overnight. Will try some sole bending tomorrow when the Wife is back at work.- bn1966

Heard the emersion method can shrink boots, the Vaseline could be worth a shot (bless your Grandmother). I’ve been using stretching spray and have conditioned the leather..one boot appears to be complying just need the other to agree to too :-)- bn1966

Any tips for breaking in? Using leather boot ‘stretching’ spray & have conditioned the leather. So far have walked about 12 miles mixed terrain in them over 3 days. One boot is starting to feel more relaxed, wish it’s brother would follow suit.- bn1966

Trying to break in those Jungle boots..pig of a job..they are the right size & fit but between the stiff leather and canvas I’m blister city at the moment. Boots (the chemist) are making money off of me right now by way of plasters...- bn1966

Post Brexit import experiences
Another clothing order from Germany through today & things ran smoothly (under the import duty threshold), price I ended up paying was same as last year. Have purchased the odd T shirt too at under 22e but paid VAT in country of origin, these were very small outlets.- bn1966
