What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Space Cowboys (2000) Very enjoyable! First time seeing it. I'm a huge Clint Eastwood fan, but, for some reason, hadn't seen this movie before. I had opportunities to, but avoided watching it on commercial television. Anyhow, I saw it on Blu-ray this evening and it was pretty good...a lot of...

    Unappreciated masterpieces?

^ I'll jump into the Jean Arthur boat, as well. She was great! And, she was born in 1900. When you see her in those late 30's and early 40's movies, she looks about 20 years younger. - Ian

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

I didn't realize (or I guess I forgot) that it was underappreciated. I had heard of it before, but had never seen a second of it. Though, in my case, that doesn't mean too much. I'm glad that I saw it. It was well worth the time. - Ian

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

"Only Angels Have Wings" (1939) starring Cary Grant, Jean Arthur, Rita Hayworth and Richard Barthelmess. Directed by Howard Hawks. Well above average movie. Very enjoyable! Cary Grant is great (as is the entire cast). Jean Arthur and Rita Hayworth are as beautiful as ever. - Ian

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Cop Land (1997) I've known about it for years and have heard great things about it. However, last night was the first time I had watched any of it. It certainly lived up to expectations. - Ian

The Denim Thread: Questions & Answers, Pics & Fits

I asked this on Denimbro, but either they don't know or don't want to be bothered with non-LVC Levi's (or other fashion jeans) questions. When did Levi's transition from Talon 42 zippers to "Levi's" zippers? As far as jeans go, I really only own U.S. made Levi's 20517's (Saddleman) and 517's...

    M-65 Field Jacket

Looks good, zhz. You mention that it's a sixe x-small to small. Is the inner label/tag that has the jacket's size on it missing? - Ian

The waiting is the hardest part ....

I think that it's as much the authenticity of the patterns and attention to detail (or something along those lines) as it is anything else. In saying that, two years is a hell of a long time to wait. I love Good Wear, am more than happy to have my A-2 from "them" and think that John Chapman is...

    M-65 Field Jacket

In 1965. As far as I know, they have always used Velcro on the M-1965 field jacket. Prior to that the M-1943, M-1950 and M-1951 all utilized buttons at the cuffs and collars. - Ian

The waiting is the hardest part ....

The waiting is the hardest part. I was fortunate that at the time I ordered and then received by Good Wear A-2, the wait time was considerably less. I ordered it in February/March of 2010 and received it in September of the same year. - Ian

    M-65 Field Jacket

Yeah, they are oversized a bit, but if you typically wear a medium in a regular length, an M-65 Medium-Regular should fit you fine. You probably could size down, but, of course, you need to know the measurements of that specific smaller jacket before you purchase it. - Ian

    Sizing of Pike Brothers Jackets....

Yeah, they seem to have a sleeve length issue on their jackets that have knit cuffs. It seems as though they don't account for the length of the knits. - Ian
