The Trackside Model Railroading magazine shoot went well on Saturday. They were there for about 5 hours and shot still/video the entire time (including a 360 video with a camera shaped like a soccer ball). I'm really looking forward to seeing the end results!- p51

Movie locations
I have been to Roslyn, WA a few times, where they filmed, "Northern Exposure" and it hasn't changed hardly at all in all those years. I finally got around to working on a GMC 2 ½ ton truck model I’d gotten off eBay a while back. They make them and only sell them in Europe, so finding one is really tough. I was lucky to get this one. I think it makes a good addition to the Army area on the layout as the GMC is a classic WW2...- p51

Army may bring back "Pinks and Greens"
Man, I SO hope they do this. Doesn't matter that enlisted soldiers didn't have pinks/greens back then, it's just a great look! I just wish they'd done this when I was still in (I got out as a Captain in 2006). I still have my greens in the closet, and oddly I hardly ever wore the things! -

Thank you very much. My room is only a 10X11 foot space, which is why I can devote so much detail.
