Legendary USA Black Stallion is Back

Congratulations. Based on the level of interest this jacket garners, probably a safe investment. If it turns out to not be what you are hoping for.

Legendary USA Black Stallion is Back

I believe that my original inspiration for the Black Stallion was a post from @AmericanIron and his journey with his. I was in search and destroy mode for several years to find this jacket and even more rare in size 50. Eventually the one I ultimately got became available from a guy in Denver. I...

Legendary USA Black Stallion is Back

I bought mine early in 2022 and the tag puts it a 2012 model. And your assessment is of the hide is spot on, substantial but wears lighter. To date it is the most I have spent on a jacket at about half of the current ask price. I would add that the $1299 is mostly inline with current Schott HH...

Legendary USA Black Stallion is Back

I didn’t look at the stated measurements but the one I have is the opposite of tapered. It is quite boxy at the waist and this could be attributed to my size 50.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Vanson Model J in the historic Competition Weight of yesteryear. The photo does not do justice to just how dark of a black this hide is.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Th old Pakastani jacket I had for a short while and I moved it along. Was actually not a bad example and the leather was nice and heavy.
