    Slight variation on the theme... I’m not waiting for these guys, they’ve been delivered to my folks in the States for a month or so and have been waiting for me. End of the week I’ll finally be flying over to pick ‘em up.

    Now that it’s confirmed German, I’ll post this over here. Not much is known about Windsor it seems, but popular theory says this could be made by Mayser. The felt is really soft and fairly light. I am strongly enamored with it.

    Oh dang... I just saw that Sunbody has a model called The Prez. Not a lot of shops carry it, and there’s almost no pics out there. Looks like the 2.5 oak with a cattleman and a cool leather band instead of the ribbon. The sunbody site describes the crown as a “V Cattleman”... I have never heard...

    Hey thanks! I am shocked by how much I love it. I’ve collected a few great hats in a fairly short period of time. I like wearing them but still have felt like I’m trying to “live up” to them. Wearing this hat feels like home... if you know what I mean.

    Just in. I believe this is a German made hat, company name is Windsor. I really love the fairly thin pleated ribbon. The felt is very light and soft. I’m pretty much over the moon. I’ve been obsessed with the cattleman crease... it pretty much turns this hat into a sweet and soft modern Caribou...
