    Five Star Leather Jackets

Thanks Ton. You and couple of others experiences with 5 star were a big help in my being able to get the fit dialed in on the 1st try. Just need to get some of the shine and top coat worn down and in.

    Five Star Leather Jackets

Hey thanks Marc. I’ve had those buttons awhile. Got them originally to replace buttons on a jacket I already had but decided to save them for something little more special. I just took my time and paid attention to the others experience with 5 star. They really nailed it. It is a great fit. Just...

    Five Star Leather Jackets

I’ve been hesitant to post any jacket pics following the Dutch Jacket Slayer postings but I do want to give props to 5 Star with the one they made for me. My contact was all via email and they were always prompt to respond and stay in touch thru the whole process. They’re spot on in detail and...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Love this one Jacket Master Michell so cool. Even in rough shape these vintage pieces especially the unique ones are still so enjoyable to have and imagine what stories they could tell about where they’ve been and what they’ve seen.

Thank you sir, much appreciated coming from one of the sharpest dressed gents on the Lounge. I do love the details that went into these vintage era ties. Bold colors but also the “ghost” patterns in the weave of the material as well. Same with the suits of this era. Used great materials, so...

Agree this book is a great resource on 40s-50s ties with some fantastic ties cataloged. Only problem is it helps feed the flames of addiction

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Check out the similarities to this jacket on Spencer Stewart Vintage Haberdasher blog, even the colors of the label. https://vintagehaberdashers.com/2013/06/21/1950s-swedish-german-goatskin-utility-jacket/

Those vintage buttons are hard to find if at all I’ve spent a fair bit of time looking.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Well it ain’t horsehide, nor steerhide, nor goatskin but it is genuine vintage plaid sharkskin. Sporting one of my favorite 50’s suits while being pressed into Prom chaperone/bouncer/trend sitting old guy style icon.
