All this talk about avoiding CXL on slim patterns is making me nervous about my incoming Hooch Hauler in 1.3mm CXFQHH.

I was thinking the same. But those photos are an EXTREME example of total abuse/neglect.
Personally I think I'm gonna go for it with my next jacket. Got a black Vanson, getting a brown Aero. I think it will be time for a natural hh jacket next. I'm sure I'll be over my head with that...

The Aero prices got pretty rough after the recent price increase. Makes me wish I had ordered 2 jackets instead of one during the sale. ~590 sale price vs 750 current price.
Go for a stock Moonshiner. Then post it here so that I could add more pictures to my abysmal Moonshiner picture collection. Would love to get one myself one day.
Add 0.5" to the body length, 1" max if you really want to. Shorter sleeves no doubt. Add width to the waist, but I don't see a need to add any at the hem unless it's uncomfortable.

I have never owned or seen anything from Benzein/Briselblack in person but I can still give you a bit of information.
Together with Onderhoud they are considered to be the best Indonesian makers to go for if you want Engineer boots specifically.
