This is getting worse day by day :)
Lorenzo Uomo " The Perfect Shirt " in color black. Cheap crap made in China worth $30 retail at best sells for $125. Arrived today. Crap quality substandard but has a decent fit.....BUT someone decided adding ORANGE ATHLETIC Material to the side vents would...
Moving right along......
Received shirts from UK brand HAWES and Curtis. 3 shirts for roughly $200 US. I like the quality and the color choices but unfortunately a few shirts I liked were double cuffs or french cuffs only. At roughly $60 a shirt I would rate them a step above Charles Trywhitt...
Got it touch with Mercer and Sons who make a 6oz well respected Oxford. I am a slim fit so they mentioned that all their shirts are classic fit BUT they could take a 14 1/2" collar put it onto a 15 1/2 shirt body then taper the short body from there. Chest measurments cannot be altered....NO...
My Charles Tyrwhtt shirts came in..... HORRIBLE even for $33 each. Awful looking seams, weird sized collars and just an overall cheap presentation. I won't be buying more of them.
J Press Oxford - Very happy for the most part. Classic fit and maybe 5.5oz oxford cloth which is the minimum for...
I was looking at the website but the rose logo on the Oxfords is a deal breaker. How could they put a rose logo on a man's staple wardrobe item ?
GRANT has some nice looking oxfords but that logo is humungous .
Been researching oxford shirts as I get into minimalism. Oxford shirts are a staple of a man's wardrobe.
JPress
Gitman Vintage
Max Weldon
Speir and Mcay.
Kamakura
Todd Snyder
I won't mention BrooksBrothers or Ralph Lauren because I have been told their quality has plummeted.
Gitman Vintage...

Same question in 2022. I am torn between Jpress , Proper Cloth or Kamakura . I want one of those old school thick oxfords to wear with jeans sleeve rolled up. Quality of fabric is key.
Recently purchased LL Bean since I had good luck with them not long ago....things have changed. Their...
Not trying to get too heady here but planning a move soon due to rising rents......just looking at the amount of stuff I have to move was stifling not to mention the rates some movers are wanting to charge ....SO I decided to do what I have been wanting to do for a very long time. PURGE PURGE...
True and they did but I'd like to be self sufficient in case they did not respond. Where would you find these types of buttons and in the right size? I would love a few back ups. IH doesn't seem to understand this. They might send ONE button but I am building a small capsule wardrobe of high...
Has anyone had to replace a button on an Iron heart work shirt and how would you go about finding a replacement button ? No Japanese company I have purchased from adds extra buttons to their shirts .
I have the 21 oz Bravestar. Its stiff as a board but the fit is top notch. It feels almost like wearing a nice leather jacket.
I purchased a lower oz model some time later from BS but I was not pleased with it.
Never heard of the concept. I would probably go with a chore coat of some form if I were looking for something like that.
Tellason has a version a little shorter than a regular chore coat but longer than a Type 3. I love mine.
