I'm selling my beloved Willis and Geiger sheepskin M445B repro jacket. Bought it preowned few years ago. Wore it 1-2 times, having lost some weight is a bit large. Also the winters are not so cold here to use sheepskin. Otherwise would have been a keeper. The sheepskin is in good condition...
For sale this great jacket, heavy FQHH(slightly broken in, though still feels bit rigit), Talon zippers, Alpaca lining, brass hardware. Slightly heavier/more heavy duty than the 2 XElement jackets I'm selling. However I'm not wearing it much last years due to weight loss, dress code at work...
I have 2 preowned XElement jackets for sale. I wore each of the jacket approx 10 times casually (I don't ride) during the last years. Kept in garment bags in the closet. Non smoker, no pets. Never exposed to rain/snow. Always had a blouse on me over the t-shirt when wearing them. They look/feel...
It looks a bit overdone, just my 2 cents. Maybe just wearing it and getting a couple of times under the elements would have helped.
These treatments/customization (while cool for some) affect the resale value usually. I see from time to time when these high end repros being folded, treated...
Never sold things on eBay. I understood you need to enable smth in your PayPal account to be able to receive payments...
As a client I find this britny bowels global shipping or whatever a real pain. The most useless, time inefficient shipping service. From Uk to another EU country it passes...
I think also sleeve zippers are longer than what we see on Aero/ other "Brando" jackets.
The overall shape is different also - shoulders are slightly dropped compared to the Aero, and there is a stronger taper (as Doctor Damage mentioned)
Looks like Aero is bit short also compared even to Schott...
Nice jacket regardless if it's a Cal leathers or not. A pity that so nice jackets show up in general in small sizes <40 or huge ones >46.
Seeing the vintage used jackets they have for sale on Cal leathers web-site, I'm not a fan of how the leather aged.
The Heritage model resembles to LW Trojan (except 1 less pocket). Personally liking more the Trojan jacket. Back is much nicer.
I love the LAPD jacket. Cal leather are great value for this price when going custom. But I have no big need to do so, therefore I can't justify this price for me.
I...
For decorative pockets, I guess you refer to http://www.lostworldsinc.com/Highway_Patrol_Motorcycle_Jacket.htm ?
The pattern, hardware are true to the vintage original in every aspect(fake chest pockets included). I have both the LW and the vintage one.
46 is very rare indeed. I see that seldom on eBay. 44 ones are a bit more common. I have a 44 ww2 one vgc that I bought by mistake. Maybe I'll sell it one day.
Yep ultimately you end up with a collection. I started the same with 1 of each type. Now I do not know by heart how many I have...
Hello,
Looking for a LW leather jacket ideally size 42. But can take 40-44 for some models.
I am interested basically in all models except A-2 / jeans style ones.
Please send me a PM if you have for sale such things. (US, other remote parts are welcome, I'm aware of and prepared to pay...
Talking about cleaning. I have 2 pairs of arctic sheepskin pants. Leather is really strong on both however one is kind of dirty.
Could you please give any insight/ reference the cleaning/conditioning process for this kind of sheepskin finish?
Thanks in advance
Agree HH and mouton also. I'd add cow/horse hair on hide for me.
What I don't like about these RL jackets: the heavy distressing looking too artificial.
I used to think about ordering an Aero or LW Grizzly. I found out that the hair on hide panels were not doubled(with leather) underneath...
