I’ve had three custom jackets from 5*, two didn’t work out but the third a deerskin Trucker gets regular wear and fits nicely. I did sent Shawn the jacket I wanted cloned but in leather & every thing was followed to a T.- bn1966

A2 sizing
You don’t want a too tight A 2 ..trust me. I use mine for riding but then I’m on a Vespa scooter sat upright. A G -1 with the bi swing back may suit you better if you are wanting a classic flight jacket for two wheeled jaunts :cool:- bn1966

I’ve tried the lotions and potions approach in the past and it didn’t work at any level I could notice or that anyone ever commented on…was pricey though. If it’s not right for you it’s not right. I sold an ELC A-2 last month because the fit wasn’t what I wanted even though it was probably within the acceptable range. My new C-3 vest from ELC, using it as a gilet / waistcoat. Had to size down from my usual 48 to a 44 long to get the desired fit. 24” chest & 23.5 back, I’m 5.10’. Had a 46 Reg a few years back but moved it on as too loose over only a T shirt, designed more around going over the likes of an A-2..- bn1966
