A couple belt's I made for my wife, probably over 20 by now. Both Herman Oak tooling leather 9/10 oz. top one is 1" and bottom one that's upside down with the prong facing the wrong way is 1 1/4".
To be fair it wasn't what one would consider a real world experience, the guy was rated #3 in the world (and had to stand on a stool to play due to being a dwarf) but Minisoda looks like he has some guns.
Looks great now but the best is yet to come. One word of advise though, keep those balls on the table, I watched a bar window get cracked by a launched ball.
The jacket I've been waiting for, a black Arcadia from Good Wear.
It will be my second and probably last jacket.
My problem is Belts! Haven't decided which Trajan Vieira pattern or color to go with yet because they're all tasty.
Ok, I accept the challenge to make it three Victory's in a row mentioned. Front half of one Kelso model mated to the back of another. My only leather jacket for the past five years or so.
Hopefully I'll be picking up my Good Wear Arcadia in another fabulous fantastic leather June or Oct. when...
Somebody in a size 44 should jump on the Good Wear/Himel Café Racer's for $999, found on the Good Wear site. With the USD way down against the Euro even the VAT tax wouldn't break the bank on this one.
Brian did a killer Roper if you've caught the bug hard, I also contacted Brian but I just can't go the full mile when Wesco can get me within spitting distance. Speaking of which I just ordered a pair of horsehide Jobmasters and decided to order some Horween butt strips to make a matching belt...
Following up on Butte's post I have a pair of Western toe Morrison's (not my picture) that I really like, so underrated I think. I'm going to order another at 9" in July in some brown CXL horsehide. I can't find a picture of Wesco's in that leather but Role Club uses it and it's a really tasty...
Sent my build sheet into to Wesco for a pair of Jobmaster's in black Horsehide, so pumped. They look like these 100th Anniversary's except I went with Nickle eyelets. I ordered some of the same Horween CXL butt strips for a belt I'll make with a Herman Oak liner, also some veg tan Kangaroo lace...
Not sure about DHL but FedEx hit's you extremely hard on clearance paperwork on top of the VAT tax, at least into Greece. I never have problems using EMS shipping.
Ok not an aged natural leather but I'm looking forward to how this belt I just made will age. I'll check back in in six months or...
I'm coming up on 23 months (I just looked at deposit time and emailed about how much longer) of waiting for GW. It would take a lot to get me off my Arcadia in black pick. Planning on trying on a Thedi button up soon, not sure if the offset button look is for me or not. Waiting to hear back from...
I stand out with 2-3" cuffs here which is what i wear. No hemmed denim either. Nothing makes me run from a clothing ad faster than a pencil rolled cuff up past the ankle.
I copied a vintage studded belt I own and patina's the brass so i wouldn't have to wait for the magic, I like the hammered look of the plain black one.
Here's a couple belts I made for my wife last week, she must be up to 20+ belts. I have a few myself. Both are Herman Oak veg tan tooling leather with Barry King stampers.
Here's their website link, they are several blocks from the Monastraki train station but are moving though not far from there sometime soon. Trip Advisor gives them a #6 for Athens shopping experience.

Thankfully I don't have to deal with the job market here in Greece but as an American I sure could have picked worse places to live in Europe for my needs without naming them.
On another note picked up my "John Lennon" model sandals made in a one room shop by the son of the man who made John's...
