BTW, just saw their post on FB. The leather is also FQHH from CF Stead and the collar is removable shearling
For those who ride, these jackets have velcro slots for skid plates. They hide the velcro nicely.
Whats the ETA on that jacket? Greg was mailing me some leather samples. I want a FL just dont know what design I'd go with. I really like yours and Marc's jackets.
I agree that having one thread per maker would simplify things. A maker thread for new products and TFL member reviews of their jackets.
I wonder if the puckering is from not skiving the leather enough around the outside pattern. To your point, it appears its when the leather is being folded over.
I agree on merging. I only started a new one because the makers name was spelled incorrectly. Thanks for pointing out to mods. I'm still a rookie on navigating TFL
Yes the stitching around the D pocket could be improved. Marco is one of the owners who posted on the other thread
Last I checked they hadn't officially put it on their website. Just teaser photos. The black is HH (dont know what tannery) and the whiskey color is also HH from CF Stead. Not sure if the collar is detachable or not. Most of their other jackets have them detachable. And they offer M2M so I bet...
Oh I hear you. I think cross zips are awesome. Quintessential badass leather jacket. If I got one it would have to be a simple design like the one above. A cross zip that doesn't scream biker jacket. Not sure if that makes sense lol. I do love RMC J24L. Super cool jacket. I just don't think I...
Agreed. Detachable is the way to go for sure. But I think I'd always find myself rocking the fur so might as well just sew it on haha.
Nope, I'm getting the Varenne with fur collar. I don’t own any cross zips actually. I've always loved the way they look but not sure if I can pull it off lol...
How kind of you. You're just trying to make me spend more money. I did just order a black leather jacket with a fur collar so I think I need to pass for my wallets sake. It is a kickass jacket for sure. I dont think it would fit me in the waist. 18.5 is about as tight as I can go.
I know exactly what you mean. When I cuff them I try different lengths when I roll them to avoid the fraying. But it'll eventually happen. I also buy the one wash to help with sizing consistency.
Sorry mods, for talking denim on this thread lol
Yeah I cuff my jeans. I mean whats the point of being quality selvedge denim if you aint going to show it off lol.
I've actually had to hot soak a couple pair to tighten up the waist. It works for a while until they stretch out with wear. Just throw them in a tub.
What size jacket do you...
Im the same brotha. 29 or 30. Let me know what you think of them. Btw, if you know your inseam they will chain stitch them for free. Just put your inseam in the notes of your order.
Love denim. I've got some momotaro and a couple PBJ's that I love as well. Raleigh Denim workshop makes some...
No its vanity sizing. I'm a 30in true waist and wear a 28. Their website list all the dimensions and they show up as listed. I have two pairs and they fit exactly the same. Great denim
That brown CXL looks amazing. Marco has been very easy to work with. Not to mention they a shrinking the waist of my next jacket at no additional cost. Thats great customer service.
