Of course it does - it's his size and cut.
Hence the flip. Like the 12-15 other flips in my past. If one comes here and sees the perfect jacket/owner pics, why would one keep a jacket that doesn't make the cut?
I miss it but it's got a good home with Isaac Hayes.
This sorta shows why It was too large for me. I hated selling it - but knowing it went to Worf made it easier.
I asked JC about getting it tailored and he didn't recommend it, so it was better to pass on to a good fella.
I sold for one simple reason - it didn't fit me right. @Worf is a big guy - so am I - but in a different way. the waist/torso is too large, and the guy who had it before me is a Marine built more like Worf. Add to that I lost 30 pounds which made it a done deal.
I hated selling it but I never...
So, help me out here with this "maximum authenticity" has a pre-baked finish, long and extra-long options, and DD/GW get threads of shite over adding 3" length to the Nylon jackets?
Help me out here. I want to say that most here are fairly consistent, but over the last month or so, I've...
And here we are again.
Bartender Edit: And here it stops. TFL exercises no preference for any brand; noone is above criticism. We do, however, expect that patrons will conductg themselves with decorum, and stick to the standards of civilised debate. Those who list on tedious repetition of...
I know lots of older guys wear sneakers but I always feel like I'm looking at that old rocker that can't give it up.
Not to mention that boots on me are way more comfortable.
Just not my bag. Aside from exercising, no sneaks. I've bought a few pairs over the last 15 years and never worn them...
Go see the U2 as well - amongst other great things there.
Have not been back for a while, sans the O'Hare-port, but it is a great city in spite of it's awful leadership - and I live in a state that makes even Illinois look well-run.
There are Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, museums, and as @ton312...
Possibly only in my mind. I try like crazy to buy USA goods when I can, but practically speaking, they may be as good or better who knows. I prefer the USA labels so I am biased.
Some of the older made in the USA Alpha have tags like this with Made in the USA with another tag that states the same.
Also, no logo in the wind flap and Alpha zips on newer ones with Ideal used on older ones.
Based on labels and the logo on the wind flap, yes.
But then I own Bitcoin, so my...

I think this is from the 80's or early 90's. About all I knows...
Most of us have a favorite beater or two of "lesser" quality, and most of us love those as much for different reasons.
I can get as much joy from a beat up old Levis sherpa denim jacket as I can a Good Wear or Aero, depending on what I'm doing.
Enjoy it.
They are both excellent in quality. I found the Beloit boring compared to the Portage, so I have a collection of those. They are heavy boots, but comfortable. Run about 1/2 size large. I love them, and I will probably keep buying them as new colors are released.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on a killer pair of Roofers (Thorogood in this case), here's a link to the Massdrop drop of the two limited edition "Natural CXL" boots they put out this summer.
Since I had these on buy short list, I had to grab them at $199! A no-brainer as they say...
