    Yep, about 3-4 weeks seems normal. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a Drifter in Blattwerk Mahogany with the pocket flaps curved slightly differently. SB have somehow nailed the neck-shoulder fit really well. The Klondike I bought in goat is really comfortable.

    Wearing them in rainfall will do it. Putting them in a pillow case and cold wash with water only will soften leather up, but it's not really necessary. I solved the problem completely by buying goatskin jackets.
