So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.
That is nice looking! I think ideally I'd prefer hydrogen powered, all else being equal, but it's not got the rollout of refuelling spots. 600 miles between fills would be great, but if there's no fill station there.... I suspect electric will triumph for no reason other than its convenience...- Edward

Makes sense - now I think about it, the brim shape is a big difference. The Campdraft I steamed the brim into a fedora style downswoop at the front, but it's not a snap brim - which the Stratoliner does have. Seems a Stratoliner might ultimately by intent be an OR for those of us who prefer a... -

Sounds intriguing, any more information? I remember Akubra did make some Stetsons under licence for the Australian market some years ago - as I recall, they made the Stratoliner, which, once that arrangement came to an end, became the Campdraft under their own brand. -

Aero USAAF Type B-7 Arctic issue.
I've never seen one in the wild, I'm afraid. Be interesting to see if there is a forumite out there with one. I have seen a fair few other Aero shearlings, though, which were all lovely.- Edward
