    Antoher way of looking at a jacket's length is the one regarding style: if you dig "before WWII" style (large, high waist trousers combined with short, fitted knitwear/jackets) you have to go for wide bottom and short/fitted up....On reverse, in the '60s you get the longest (up) and fitted...
