The Wild Bunch is also an excellent example, and to a firearm's afficianado, is especially welcome for that accuracy as well.

Yup, Midway was actually cheaper than ordering from Starline direct.

I'm glad I'm already set up for reloading! That .38-40 ammo is crazy expensive! Ordered dies and a casting mold today, gotta call Midway for brass!

'Shucker, I like the Bisley grip as I have big hands and it fits me very well. Still can't believe I was able to snag it!

Most of you know I'm a S&W snob with revolvers, but sometimes a mud puppy just has to follow you home. It's some off-brand with a pony on it. Made in 1905 in .38WCF and tight as a drum!

Just beautiful. I must admit I like the blued ones better, but just wow.

Found this one the other day and it followed me home today, a S&W 4516 no dash.

The British triedafter both World Wars to move to a smaller cartridge, and the US' M1 Garand was originally designed for a smaller round. The Garand was re-engineered for the .30-06 to avoid the problem of changing rounds with an upcoming war looming. After WW2 the Brits came up with a round that...

Okay a pic of my N frames. Rear left is a 2nd Model in .44 Special, one of the first 300 made after WW1. Front left is a 3rd Model in .44 Special, one of the first batch of blued ones that Wolf & Klar ordered. Rear right is a 1917 in .45 ACP made in September of 1917 and the last is a 1937...

Traded for this today, a S&W .45ACP from the 1937 Brazilian Contract that was fitted with a King style front sight and S&W rear sight! The action is just gorgeous, a N frame at it's best.
