This is the biggest hat I have. Knox Stagecoach with a 7 inch open crown and 4 1/2 inch brim with a pencil curl. I gave this one a Montana Pinch with a Mule Kick and shaped the brim with a slight curl. I've worn this one outside in the Winter when I walked my dog. I don't think I'd wear it to...
It sure is. Classic Craftsman in every way. It's my favorite style of home. We have a few of those old Bungalows in my area.
EDIT: Evidently, it's not a Craftsman after all, per Bob's post above.
Came across this old pic from several years ago. City Sport Newsboy cap.

I did a restoration on a '50s era 3X Quality Stetson with that same profile and 3 cord hat band. I used that Open Road in the ad for inspiration when I restored this hat. It was really trashed and abused, and the sweat was rotted and falling out when I first got it. I cleaned it up and rebuilt...
Actually, an intermediate version, probably around 1946-'47, (after the original wide ribbon OR and right before the 3/8 thin ribbon OR), did have a three cord hat band and a 2 7/8 bound brim. It was advertised as a 3X Quality Stetson Open Road.
Come to think of it, I wear this hat all the time when I'm doing yard work and I do find myself pushing it back off my forehead when I start getting too hot.
(Had to download that pic you posted)
I have to agree. The hat styles in that photo are my personal favorites too. I like the curled brims and those tall creased crowns and the way they're worn. Although some guys can really rock the BOP. It's all a matter of personal preference with everyone. The BOP was perfect for Kurt Russell...
Here's some Montana cowboys, circa 1890s. A transformation in the look of the Cowboy hat. Notice the curled brims and the tall creased crowns. A much different looking hat from the BOP that was popular among cowboys just a decade or so before.
Also, notice the jeans. Looks they're being worn...
I see Wishbone up front, and there's Gil Favor in the back on a horse, and there's Rowdy in the back standing in a wagon off to Gil Favor's left.
Awesome pic!
At the park yesterday with Pixie. You can't get these animals to stay still for a picture. I'm wearing a 3X Stetson conversion.
A little more Rockabilly from some lesser known artists
Back in the day I did a lot of car trading. I had one of those too. An ugly green '68 Chevelle SS with a black vinyl top, 396 4spd. I also had a dark blue '66 Chevelle SS that had a small block with a 4 spd, and a '70 Chevelle SS with a 396, automatic. My quickest car was a '72 Nova SS that...
