Is comfort and wearability a part of this? I find that wearing my leather jackets is an exercise in acceptance, which makes sense to a certain extent. Minimal stretch can inhibit mobility or even comfort. Aero patterns, as has been mentioned many times, can cause the jacket to rest on the neck...
I’m going to open myself for some heavy heat here with this but… I get the tuck thing but I live in Maine. Nobody here wears leather jackets so I’m going to go ahead and set the standard. Since I don’t have a fashion sense this is pretty much my look with any jacket I wear during the winter...
Finally got some pics of the original Herc I got for trainspotter. Thanks trainspotter. Great jacket. Good down to 35F with the alpaca. Plenty of layering room. Very nice leather with great color.
Sorry, no good pics yet. Hopefully this weekend. Wore it today and it’s the most comfortable leather jacket I’ve had yet. It still has a beak but whatever.

jumped on the opportunity to wear the FL today. Super comfy with my usual layers of Woolrich vest and Pendleton wool button up. Very pleased.
