Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

Zipped open(which for me is most of the time), the 38 feels great. Zipped up, it is too tight at the waist, but the 40 is only marginally better. I like the length of the 40 better though The stretching part, isn't it dependent on how tight the jacket is to begin with? Like if one is wearing a...

Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

I was thinking of keeping both @MrProper. Had put up the 38 on sale even before receiving the 40, but took it down later. But now that I think of it, can probably get a BR or a HB in the same leather(love natural cxl) by topping up the sale amount from one of these great to hear your perspective...

Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

Haven't really worn any jacket till now, got both this summer. I intend to loose weight, but would want to layer as well during winters. 38 is strictly T shirt only actually

Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

@Marc mndt that's because my waist is at least 4 inches + than normal...trying to pin it on the lockdown :)

Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

Thanks @El Marro , I am tilting towards the 40 as well, but the collar shape and versatility of thinner CXL keep pulling me back to the 38

Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

@Marc mndt & @oskar I usually wear my leather jackets unzipped, but definitely agree, zipped up pics are absolutely essential to determine fit of the jacket. Will upload shortly

Which one of these jacket twins is a keeper?

Seeking fellow loungers opinions on a weird 1st world problem of mine... I bought a new off the rack Aero Sheene from TB this year. This was a Sheene in size 38 in Natural CXFQHH. Initially, the fit was very tight at the waist, more so since I had gained some weight during the lockdown. The fit...

    Schott x Shinki Jacket

Definitely return, Schott return policy is quite generous. I had tags retained on one of mine and was stuck outside US due to COVID, they allowed return even after 4 months or so I think. Just drop a mail to Jerry/Denise and you are good to go

Aero worth the wait? Horsehide shootout; Aero vs. Schott

So @Monitor you mean my shiny lustrous black cxlfqhh jacket will loose its luster to a more subdued brown? I sure hope not

Aero worth the wait? Horsehide shootout; Aero vs. Schott

I have a schott in CXL Horsehide & one in CXL Steerhide. As most will tell you, both have very similar hand, which is initially very firm. Steerhide is a bit heavier and thicker than Horsehide, but breaks in much more easily. I believe patina and and character (creasing & graining) is largely...

Aero worth the wait? Horsehide shootout; Aero vs. Schott

618HH is not CXL. Usually very selective schott jackets are CXL and all of them currently available in CXL are Steerhide, not horsehide So if you want CXL + Horsehide, a new Schott is a no go. But you can get used CXL horsehide jackets from Schott such as CXL113 model I would suggest look...

Aero custom order help: First buy, CR

I believe anything below 800$ is not charged custom duty in US. I am not sure, but I believe Aero declares jacket price as item cost in customs form(customs demands CIF which includes jacket + Freight + insurance costs). Currently, a stock aero is around 600pounds which translates to US$793, so...

    Schott x Shinki Jacket

Sure @Monitor ...I bloody love all 3 Schotts of mine and will never even think of letting them go. On the other hand, I do have a couple of Aero CRs I am thinking of moving(nothing related to quality, or construction, just because the sleeves are too long) But for my Schott P663(which is...
