    I’ve done it plenty of times in shoes, boots, leather jackets, etc. with zero issues. It’s just a tiny flame for a split second. Quality leather goods are supposed to be resilient, otherwise what’s the point?

    I may be in the minority here, but I think they both fit you well. The board racer is perfect and great looking jacket, and the Vanson fits you just like that style normally does. I’d be happy with both.
