Looks like late 40s talon, likely civilian A-2. Quite a few makers make these post-war civilian A-2s. There is one on yahoo auction now.

Glad to help. P2P of your Thedi is around 100cm which will be a tight fit. You mentioned zipper which is something you should keep in mind too because the small 40-50s style zipper may split open in the middle after zipping up if the fit is tight. The Bootlegger is a copy of 70s East West and...
This is not a V cut Motorcycle jacket so I believe the shoulder is not gonna be wide La Brea etc. In any case, you will not fit into a size 36 regardless of the discrepancies you found on the 2 websites. If you have actual 19 inch chest you need a P2P of at least 98cm-100cm and that will give...
Shoe cream and wax are not dye and even dye requires a coating to prevent fading/rubbing off. You also fail to mention the type of leather. A lot of the Gucci leather items use what is known as "bookbinder" leather which has a shinny coating that if damaged cannot be repaired by cream or wax.
Red Tornado stuffs are fast fashion quality and knockoffs etc. The Red Tornado Official is IMO not official at all. They are selling leather jackets from other manufacturers which you will not find on the "official" Red Tornado Taobao stores.
My fourth goatskin jackets in the past 2 months. It may be a womens jacket seeing there are many pleats and there seems to be a small shoulder pad under the lining. No zipper to date, no idea about the origin.
Ralph Lauren has downgraded all their stuffs in the past ten years or so. Polo line is downgraded to the discontinued Polo Jeans (Denim & Supply). RRL is what Polo used to be ten years ago. Purple label is Black label from ten years ago.
As for Brother Bridge, they first started making...

A whole thread dedicated to Sears. You will find lots of info
The dilemma is that these veg tanned shiniki develops crease very easily and crease leads to weak point (fading), so quite a few shops in Japan ask customers not to bend their arms when trying them on. But the whole trying on involves flexing to see if you feel comfortable.
Oh yes. The best of both world polycotton thread but then the jeans itself is cotton (unless it is those spandex stretch jeans) meaning the thread will last longer than the denim cloth.;)
Well. We are old school but the younger generation wearing the MA-1s today don't. In fact even old school guys like me are forced to adapt. In my line of work, we used to carry pocket diaries for appointments and we have to call the office to "sync" the desktop diaries kept by secretaries but...
Pretending is the point for re-enactment. Originally people get into "accurate" repros for re-enactment. Then the regular people got interested and started buying these costume for everyday wear. Take for example, one of the original repro makers of A-2 Avirex back in 90s did not have...
There is a letter?
Anyway, I know the denim tribe prefer the cotton thread for chain stitching because it shrinks. And nylon may stretch but depends on the mix.
Nice. Seeing how it fits you, I think it will be too long for me. Congrats.
I got this Field and Stream in the same shipment as my Allstate. Perfect for the local monsoon weather this week just as I expected. I bought 3 goatskin jackets last month and only one arrived on time for the...
