    Old Excelled. Proof that almost every maker made cool jackets at some point even if that same maker's more modern stuff is crummy. Very much like Golden Bear...... You don't see these Excelled labels often......and with the visibly evident flimsy label material and stitching, its easy to see...

    I don't think this can be elevated to an absolute certainty as far as identifying markings go, and it is certainly generic, but it seems that this tag is associated with Excelled. And that stain outline strongly suggests an Excelled label as well. Others may see something different.
