Thanks, gents, for the kind comments. Sadly the sweatband suffers from dry rot, so this particular hat doesn't get worn nearly as often as it deserves.
New Cap Day! Fortuitous find on the secondary market, this 8-dart Simonds:
Solid cap all around. Has a noticeable heft and drapes really well. This will get plenty of wear in cooler temperatures as it's too heavy for the growing heat and humidity.

You might be able to cross-reference your hat by comparing the features such as brim width, crown height, raw edge...
I misidentified it as a Westward, which has a bound brim. Yours appears to have a raw edge. I would still bet the block is the same, however.
The felt body still appears to be in good shape. You could have it refurbished and a new sweatband added or enjoy it as is in its current state...
