Thank you. That coat looks great on you and doesn't really appear to be all that tight fitting. Trim fitting jackets aren't my preference though. When I extend my arms my pits get too pinched and the sleeves pull way too far back. I drive a lot and that's the position I have to endure. I'm no...
Yes, indeed they are. A few of my own repro's from other makers have some of these features. I was commenting about how these were unique for Aero jackets.
I see I worded that poorly. Instead of "unique to Aero coats" I should've said "unique for Aero coats". Thank you for that.
The Corozo buttons are unique to Aero coats, as well as the buttoned side straps, dual rows of stitching, collar design, and center back pleat. Plus it has a full Melton wool lining including the facings. You'd expect Melton wool to be thick but I hear it's very thin like shirt fabric for this coat.
That's a fine looking coat and the one I'm considering next, but I hear it may be too tight in the shoulders for me since mine are a bit broad. I have a thin frame though. I'm also told Aero will do little customization for this coat, or any in the Pemier range. Did you request anything? You...
These are true to size. Alden 405's run bigger, not these. As for international shipping, nothing against anybody, I've just had too many issues and it's no longer worth the hassle for me. These are truly fine boots. I've had Gentleman Travelers (returned them) and Indy's, but these are my...
Fortunately Spiegel and Sears are still in business...I'm placing my order. Mark (fishmeok), drop me a line when you get into these patterns, in case the're out of stock. You know I want you to build me one. You've got my email.

Searching for my next jacket design and found this thread. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Naked cow and all. That biswing back design is more functional than Aero's and others. Theirs is more for looks but yours looks like it actually works. Schott has a good desing as well. Aero also...
Hi Mark,
This is a classic jacket and I don't know why I've been overlooking it. I have 4 Aeros and while they're all great there's something I'd change about each. Having owned this for awhile, is there anything you'd change about it?
Thanks,
Cliff
On second look I like the fit. The back appeared to have too much room across the shoulders, but this would just help as you stretch your arms and prevent the sleeves from shortening too much.
Looks like a "Californian" in russet buffalo. They customized it a bit by eliminating the cuff straps it normally comes with, and adding an inside "gun" pocket. The chest looks a tad large (especially from the back) but not something I would part with. Aero no longer offers that lining. You got...
