    White t shirt or an ecru button-front shirt. The pants already has stripes so you don’t want to clash it with any stripe/checkered shirts. Stick with solid colors and experiment. Think colors that look “dirty” like rust/orange shades of yellow.

    Even wearing it unzipped, the shoulder is too small for you. That is, the shoulder line is too high. If you’re fine moving around in the jacket and willing to wear it unzipped all the time, you can keep it. But you’d prob regret it in 6 months.

    You can minimize shrinkage by washing in cold water and hang dry the tee. It would still shrink a bit, for it being cotton.

    I second Addict in sheepskin, they have some different styles for cross-zips. Sheepskin is as soft as lambskin. Relatedly, all of my suits are RLBL. They drape like a dream. I get them used on eBay, still holding strong in the past 10-15 years.

    If you’re hoping for fades, only wash when you feel like it needs a wash… which, for denim pants, is at least 6 months and, for denim jacket, a lot longer. You don’t sweat as much for jacket as for pants.

    leather jackets with a still-reasonable used market?

    Maybe there’s a reason why the used Lost Worlds jackets in the JP market don’t fetch a good price — the market usually knows what’s up and prices the items accordingly. And that’s not to discount that LW (a two-man operation) jackets are relatively rare.
