Wasn't supposed to happen, I'd reckon... It is disappointing to say the least.
Anyway, there are a few places and people in UK that I believe would be able to fix it for you.
Mine doesn't have an elastic band either
Edit: but doesn't protrude that much either... Perhaps it is too tight on you?
Edit2: corrected damn autocorrect
Heya!
I couldn't find any specific topics on this subject, so I decided to create one.
I'm on the process of making my jacket with Greg, and the leather I picked when it all started was Shinki pigmented. I'll probably go on with this choice, however I realised that I have only seen very few...
Not at all, mate. I'm just being an a**hole. I read your order number and inverted one number, so got a bit resentful without reason. Was my bad, after all.
Greg replied real quickly by email as well. Sam's already taking care of my design. Things are moving :)
Btw, lovely jacket you got there.
I was getting quick replies on IG up until May or so... After that I think they just went full busy and replies via IG went mute. However replies via email are ok speed
Or maybe that was just me... Not gonna lie, I'm feeling a little left behind, after I saw Damon's order is 1788, already pretty much finalised, being made with Shinki and Sam only contacted me the day before yesterday after I emailed Greg directly...
I never returned nothing, but I've been quite displeased with UPS recently with a parcel coming from US. If you can, check if they can ship with any courier that finishes the delivery using RM, much better experience. Besides, UPS charges duties directly, while RM you'll have to pay to customs...
2/22 as 22 of February, right? (I mean, probably it is not February of 2022, but it doesn't hurt to ask haha)
I placed mine Feb. 1st... So I guess mine is due soon.
I wonder if it is because of leather choice... Which leather you're going for?
I've sold most of my "older" boots and reduced my collection to just 3, one M43 I bought for my birthday last January (and that spent 2 months back in the factory to fix the welt), my trusty 5 year old Vibergs and a recently acquired pair of Attractions engineers (2 months ago, maybe). They all...
I didn't know that, but makes sense...
Interesting that they actually managed to make it! I think the shiny leather would also work on military style boots, for the higher ranks or something, but yeah, I agree that a shell engineer wouldn't be my first choice
