This simple cafe racer is probably from the 60’s, judging by the zippers (all Talon), it’s also more likely made by Fidelity (Boston company)suggested by details on the jacket construction ( trace of a zip removable pile lining, chain hanger at neck).

At some point Mark Fisher from « Norshor » worked with John Chapman, making some Californian Ventura in order to help him in his orders. I think that therefore he’s producing his own Ventura, based on Good Wear pattern.

I’m not familiar with Vanson, and I must admit that a lot of their jacket have a design at the back that I absolutely dislike.
Also I’ve always wondered why the edge of their sleeve/wrist was not stitched...
Any how, every one I know into leather jackets seems to absolutely love their products...
This patina is a the result of natural sun tan, then dye, and hand made effects by first and previous owner. I’ve been wearing it for two years now, mostly in the sunny days. I don’t know why but this leather has a cold feeling and touch, like CXL, which make it very refreshing to wear!
