I have the exact same issue with FW leather jackets (their non-leather jackets are a different story). There is no uniformity to the dimensions, patterns, and fits. Some jackets have spectacularly wide shoulders . . . others have bizarrely narrow chests . . . and others have far too short...
In my experience, the "best" hanger is entirely dependent on the cut of the jacket -- in particular, the angle/slope of the shoulders. With certain of my jackets, there is a significant slope from the edge of the collar to the edge of the shoulder. Aero hangers do not work well for these...
I used to live in WH -- Westchester in particular -- gave the house to my ex as I ran out the door. Now I am further south -- closer to @dudewuttheheck (he is behind the curtain -- I am a stones throw north of the county line).

If I crossed-over to the dark side and tried a cross-zip -- shiver me timbers -- the deerskin FW Sunset would be at the top of my list. I love the Himel Avro, but that is for more dedicated cross-zippers.
All of their HH comes from Himeji, but not all is Shinki.
I only know that they have a so-called "secret recipe" for their tanneries -- I have no idea what it is. I presume it only impacts the finish, as I would be surprised if tanneries used special tanning recipes for individual customers...
