Here is a liner jacket that I think is great.
I want to find one like it. I presume it's an M65-type liner, but what is it exactly, so I can find one?
I especially like the colour and the diagonal style of quilting. Also, I'm not going to buy the one pictured because it's from the artisanal...
I think it looks superb!
The length looks perfect to my eye, and it fits you brilliantly.
Also, I don't recall seeing your face before. I have to say you are very much cooler than the Mainwaring I've always pictured!
M65.
It's a repro not a real one, because I wanted to wear it as a jacket and not live in it with my whole family.
So this is a trimmer fit than an original, but still gives that great capacious feel.
It's Sherpa lined, with cotton twill in the sleeves, so nice and warm even when not layered...
Absolutely!
I don't suppose all the people I see wearing trainers or tracksuit trousers are doing sport. And I don't suppose anyone wearing a parka is on cold-weather military operations.
But you wear what you feel comfortable wearing. If a cross zip makes you feel nervous, you don't have to...
If you're a Large, you can pick up a Levi's indigo selvedge Type I for a song here.

Coincidentally, after literally having heard of this jacket, I was looking at it on their website last night. Great to see one in real life "straight away".
Looks cool.
It's it actually two different types of leather? It's hard to tell from the photos, at least on my phone.
It looks like it could have been all uniform colour, but then some of the panels have been treated with conditioner or oiled so that they've darkened up.
