woah, yes. Mine definitely did not come with a “one hundred” and I wish it did! Thanks for sharing those photos. Looks like the case makes sense for the hat! Shame about the discoloration issue. I have 2 S100 cases, one with the plastic holder and one without. I was hoping to keep hats in them...- Jesse John

Here’s something quite interesting that I came across. Someone was selling this box along with an old Cavanagh Homburg. The hat itself is nothing special and also has holes (bummer). The box on the other hand, possibly a bit more valuable. Looks very much like the early S100 and 7x boxes but...- Jesse John

Haha Thank you! I was thinking it could be... but then again, the box is possibly from the 40’s. BUT I don’t think it goes with this hat. There’s a piece of tape on the box that says “light grey hat” and this is far from that shade!- Jesse John

Just got this one in the mail. Can someone help me date it? Stetson 3x long hair beaver. It’s very soft, malleable, and has a block size 7 1/8 but fits 7 1/4. From Chicago. It’s a fun one! Came in the Royal box- Jesse John
