Leather Jacket Collar Gap
The whole collar looks like it's made up of straight lines at the moment, because it's still new and unbroken-in. To me, that's why there's a gap. The collar's square and your neck is probably round. As it breaks in that will soften and likely disappear. Wear it and enjoy it.- barnabus

It looks too long and too narrow to my eyes. But it doesn't matter what I think, or anyone else. Do you feel comfortable in it? Do you feel better when you wear it? If you have misgivings now, they probably won't go away.- barnabus

I had one myself, although the earlier version with the bright red lining. Same design though, with the exaggerated quilting. Mine was a 38 too and impossibly snug on my then-38 frame, so unfortunately I had to move it on after some minor repairs and treating the leather. I'll have a root...- barnabus
