Yes, there’s no equivalent. Except probably a late 40s One Hundred. But I don’t have one, so I can only tout the old 7Xs of which I am lucky to have about 8 or 9.

I’ve tried many different ways, but the only way I’ve found to work is a full tear down and soaking the hat body in hot water for a good while. But then ya gotta reblock and sew it all back together, so, not a good method on a hat that doesn’t already need anything.
