Gustin #282 tag size 33. These are woven with Kevlar. I picked these up off the Bay in hopes to use them for riding, but they are just too slim in the legs for me to be comfy on the bike. Very substantial denim here. Worn very little, the only flaw is around top button hole. They button up just...
I’m with you. Although I maintain multiple hobbies, they tend to cycle heavily toward one or the other. I often feel like I end up going overboard at times, which triggers a purge. I’ve recently caught the motorcycle bug again, and have sold off a few of my jackets, and nearly my entire guitar...
Offering up my Beckmans in Cigar Featherstone. Light wear and in great shape. Very minor scuffing. US size 9. I’m a 10 D on the Brannock scale and these are a good fit. Not factory 2nds. Asking $160 shipped CONUS PP F&F
I’ve decided to offer up two great jackets that just won’t see much wear, so I should probably let them go. I’ve listed them directly to eBay, as I really prefer their direct deposit payment(even with fees), than messing with PP, because since 2018, I no longer have my bank account linked with...
^^ It’s really good to hear that it seems to have been caught at an early stage. I’ve been through a similar situation with my dad, and while it wasn’t easy, the outcome was positive, thankfully. Best wishes that he makes a full and speedy recovery.
Spent the last few weeks searching high and low for a new “proper” riding jacket. I’m usually not the type to brand match a jacket to the bike I’m riding, but I landed on this Braddan Air Race jacket from Triumph. I’m pretty impressed with it. Full suite of D30 armor in elbows, shoulder, and...
I like the j100 treatment on the cafe racer pattern. It doesn’t take long for the Badalassi to start looking very nice and worn in. I once had a russet Badalassi BR that was an easy size too small for me, to “loosen it up” I got it soaking wet, put on the thickest sweater I could fit under it...
I always find the zips to be fiddly at first on a new jacket, especially on thicker hides. It always gets better as the leather near the slider starts to break in. I also lubricate the zips with either a wax for zippers or pencil lead as well.
Unknown maker jacket today. I’ve been waiting patiently for this one to come back from alterations.. It received a new flannel lining and got some stitching repaired. I’m generally a black jacket kinda guy, but I’ve been chasing a brown jacket that “works” for a long time. Been though several...
