You showed some cool stuff and seeing footage vs just a picture really gives a good idea of how certain features wear.
I actually had been wanting another wool jacket for a long time, I saw a couple featured in a video of yours one day so I went looking at just the right time and found a...
These were bell bottoms, and it was '03.
Shortly after he kept complaining of a stomach ache and staying home.
Naturally I thought he just didn't want to get picked on at his school or something because of the pants incident.
It turns out he had an appendicitis attack.
That has taught me to...
What are you calling me flat chested ?
How dare you insinuate such a thing :D
Okay it's true, so should I just stuff some tissue in there like my sister used to do in middle school ?:D
You guys are definitely helping this important lesson stick on my mind for sure.
It reminds me of the time...
Thank you for the identification info.
Fidity is one of the suggested brands I looked into, so that's why I recognized the label font.
With just the little bit I've been learning here the past few days I could tell this was a good jacket, and I had a feeling about it that I didn't about my last...
Okay so I got a recommendation email from Ebay, this jacket popped up and I'm really liking it.
This nice looking brown mens ( I'm starting to learn )Cafe appears to be in good condition, It has what I believe are 40's-70's Talon zippers, and there's no brand present but I swear I have seen...
Well yeah I guess aside from just being there they do kind of effect how it wears because they're there for a reason after all.
It's now packed up and awaiting somebody to take it off my hands.
If theres anything good in this situation it's that the jacket will hopefully wind up with someone...
Yes it is.
Should I have specified this?
I figured the seasoned jacket enthusiast on this forum would be able to tell, but I probably should not assume things.
I received this Brooks cafe today.
It's a very nice jacket, and even though it turned out to be a woman's jacket it seems to wear okay on me as far as I know.
I'm sure there are multiple things about fit that I'm unaware of and am missing.
I have listed it in the classifieds here, and hopefully...
This is a woman's jacket , I believe a model 400
I'd like $75 shipped
Or trade, something in a mens 36.
I'm currently interested in a work / chore type jacket.
I had a big smith years ago that I liked but lost it somewhere along the way.
That's what I've been told.
I just don't know exactly what they are and how to generally identify them, unless there's a universal design for this feature.
All I know is it's some kind of feature on the front of the jacket which were pointed out to me.
Aside from which side a jacket buttons from., are there things to look for that would identify a piece as a woman's jacket if it's not a specifically woman's style ?
If the jacket just zips up and doesn't have a mandarin collar like a Cafe racer, would the male half of the zipper actually be on...
Here we go.
2 years in on my 4364's, they're not without their fair share of scars and scuffs, but they don't look too bad.
They could use some more Obenauffs and could probably stand to see some saddle soap though.
I don't have a more recent photo but heres my favorite everyday boots.
These are the boots I'm not afraid to get things done in, but I also do my best to keep them clean and nice when I'm done.
Thorogood 4364.
The week I got 'em just over 2 years ago.
And After 5 months of daily wear off...

Not a work boot by today's standards, but these Weinbrenner thorogood 1892 Tomahawks in cognac Chromexel are my nice casual boots. ( I added the lace keeper and bought kiltie from Rose anvil )
I got about 2 years of work out of that old pair of justin conductor's there ( didn't have my peet dryer yet, and the heavy rain made caused a mildew smell that killed the thought of a resole ) and I'm 11 months in on the new pair at this point.
They certainly don't look like they did in this...
