question, why is it a lot of these hats shops will give you info on, the brim, the construction, material, obviously sizes and colors but next to nothing on the crown height? -

soooo in my enthusiasm i bought a wool felt replica of "the Hat" from Caliqo, i must say i'm not at all impressed with it, i wore it on a band gig (drums, blues) last saturday night and the brim is already losing it's shape. do i dare steam this thing? there are a couple elements i don't like... -

AGAIN, like I said earlier, I'm very green to all things felt. I wonder if the height of the crown, it does seem a tad taller than most, contributes to the illusion that the brim is short? Just about everything I have been able to gather on this hat indicates a 2 1/4" brim. -
