I going to order a cafe racer jacket from Aero.
I hope some of you gentlemen can give me some advice on the sizing issue.
Here are my stats:
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 192 lbs
Chest: 43 inch
Waist above navel: 32 inch
Pant waistline: 33,5 inch
Arm length: 26,5 inch...
What was Amanda saying about the "dirtrider" collar? Are they making it for you? Are you going for the same collar height as in the picture (pretty high!).
Aero has made the cafe racer with various different collar types. They are all "mandarin" styled, but are coming in different lengths, forms and closing variants.
Please share pictures and help to build up a reference for orders.
What I got so far:
Dirtrider style:

First of all, many thanks for all the answers. You guys are right, with some really high rise pants the jacket will fit properly (fully covers the belt). But i wanted to wear my A2 as an daily jacket and it makes no sense for me to just wear "special" pants in order to have an right fited A2...
The base is a size 44 Jacket. But it has 2" in body, 2 1/2" in sleeve, wider shoulders etc. Will form Aero took my measurments, so it really has actually nothing to do anymore with a stock size 44.
I am 6'4" with 210lbs

Spec´s of the jacket:
1940 A2...

Hello,
I am searching for pictures which should show the 4 (5?) different colours, Aero offers for the knits.
If I am right there should be:

Hopefully someone can help me with some nice pics.
Thanks gents!
Thanks to all for the input! :eusa_clap
Some additions:
@ Paddy
Regarding the lining. Because of, as you said, cotton is the only period correct lining, i don´t want it.... :) I just want to try something different, it should not be like every other A2 out there...
As Edward already...
Hello @ all,
I am right in the middle of ordering an A2 from Aero and wanted to ask if you could share your experiences for creating the perfect one.
My goal is not to have the most accurate A2 replica, instead I want the most durable and good looking one.
So let us think about several...
