But...do RMNZ do "redskin" material? RMNZ need a way better website, too!
And, off on a slight tangent (well, this IS a cocktail lounge..!) where oh where will I get the best ANJ-4? Only ELC and Lost Worlds still seem to make them!
Hi
Thanks; that would be my initial thought based on A2's I have seen; however, sheepskin being a different kettle of fish I thought it worth checking with the community at large!
Shame Aero don't make an ANJ-4!
Despite an ongoing (and, I suspect, ultimately undeniable!) desire to own an ANJ-4, I have decided that a B-6 would be a more wearable jacket.
I like the vegetable-tanned, hand dyed approach of the so-called "redskin" jackets (if for no other reason than I don't like chrome waste from...
Aero!
My vote is for Aero, personally. I have owned jackets from both and found Aero more realistic.
I don't think there is much love lost between the two companies though!
Mess Hockey
Brigg umbrelleas on a stick frame (usually of solid Hickory or similar) are excellent for using as hockey sticks in informal Mess Hockey tourneys!
OK - that is a peculiar thing to we Englishmen perhaps - but you could substitute your office for the Mess!!
Harvie & Hudson
This is where you will find my pattern, resting on a dusty shelf in Jermyn Street. It awaits my clarion call to the excellent and accommodating Mr Harvie "Please make up 3 shirts in Tattersall Check to my usual pattern and forward at once to me in New Zealand!"
Perhaps the...

Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen
Surely the hardest part is a journey that departs in one climate and arrives in another? For example, in December I depart Wellington NZ (it will be summer and around 25 Centigrade) to arrive in Osaka, Japan (winter, around 5C!)...
Good day to you all
I have decided that my next acquisition will be a painted B6. Much as I love the B3, I think it would be less practical for regular wear.
At present, I am leaning towards either a redskin Aero Leather Clothing version or a Real McCoy version but advice on that choice is...
Real McCoys
So how do these compare with Aero/ELC?
There's certainly no shortage of raw material here, that's for sure..!!
However, apart from the photo at the start of this thread I have never seen a RMC version.
Pip pip
Aero for sure!
Hi All
I would say Aero Leather Clothing for sure; I have both Eastman and Aero (and have had Aviation Leathercraft in the past) jackets and certainly as far as A2 jackets go, Aero are miles ahead in quality terms.
Where does that New Zealand made jacket in the pictures...
