I seem to recall when i ordered it (Radjacke) I thought it would come with corduroy body lining and standard heavy cotton sleeve lining.
When the jacket arrived i was a bit concerened as it felt a little bulky but as usual after a while breaking it has moulded nicely to fit.

Alternative lining
Just thought id throw this out there for anyone interested .
My Radjacke has a full lining including sleeves of corduroy and it seems to be warmer than my Alpaca or wool Tartan lined jackets.
Our Canada Geese
I have a CG expedition its a brilliant jacket/coat super warm and with a fantastic hood absolutely one of the best manufacturers of down products.
I also like down too Its great if you are in and out of warm buildings all day as it is so light and warms up super quick.
After thinking about it I almost never wear my down jacket since i bought sheepskins , I dont know why but sheepskin just does it for me.
I think im gonna dig out my down...
Alpaca insulation
I find alpaca no different to the tartan wool linings when it goes below 10 degrees c, as previous posts have stated you need to layer to get any insulation. The problem with the layering option is when it gets really cold you end up with too many layers and it becomes...
I sort of have the opposite
If im going for a lightweight jacket i have the opposite instead of reaching for my Aero A2 or A1 I always reach for the lost worlds HHA2 or Goat A1 . Dont know why it works out that way but I guess i just prefer the fit of my lostworlds, I will "never" sell my lost...

I have a Highwayman with a shearling lining (i asked for the thickest shearling) that i use when the weather is 0c and below I have used it to minus 30c .
At 0c its a little too warm and I have to open the zip if I am walking around but when it dips below that the shearling is great. It does...
I have a couple of pairs of R M Williams elastic sided boots very well made easy to put on and take off, comfortable and look good . They have a good range styles from working boots to dressier boots with leather or rubber soles but they are fairly pricey.
My other pricey choice is the...

Hello Fedora Loungers
I have had my Highwayman for about 10 days now and worn it maybe for 2 hours a day and have noticed that the black finish is wearing off on one arm in small (size of a 50 pence coin) patches maybe 4 in all.The worn patches are on the back of the arm so i dont think they...

My new B3
Woohoo
Got my new B3 and Irvin from Eastmans, took a while as Eastmans had some problems sourcing the B3 sheepskin but it was worth the wait. I went for the house style B3 with russet horsehide ,all i can say is the quality is far better than i thought it would be. Fortunately for...

Jules
Hi Andrew
Just been digging through that page again and it certainly looks like a really nice jacket. I have left a reply asking John if he would compare the two (eastmans aero) jackets.
Jules
