I was married in a simple black suit that I purchesed for the event and black dress shoes. Nothing special. The only exciting thing I wore was my white socks with holly on them. My wife's name is Holly so I thought it fitting. Those are now my special socks I only wear for very special...
Thank you all very much for the information. Now I am far less clueless about the anatomy of hats. Now I only have to learn about the different styles and makers. Oh, joy.
I totally agree. As someone who is new to the hat world, I also need these terms a little more defined. I would be grateful for any help any of you veterans would like to pass on. Thank you.
Silver wedding ring, either Cross or Ohm necklace (I alternate everyday) and either a Hebrew or Gaelic ring on my right ring finger (I alternate those, too). Oh, and my pocket watch.
Amen, brother. I know I have a hell of a time some days. I was a manager of a major pet supply chain store and everytime a disgruntled customer took their first look at me, they almost laughed. Of course, they soon knew that I knew what I was talking about and gave me the respect I deserved...
Oh, the trouble we little folk have. I am also 5'6" and also of a thin frame. Well, it has expanded some but not too much...
I actually stay away from jeans all together because I do not like them on me. I have never found a "good" pair of jeans. Ever. As such, the only kind of trousers...
I also LOVE this series! I have several but I am working on getting the rest. The Crime Scene is my favorite. It is on my computer at work and I was just listening to it yesterday.
I have one on each arm and one on my chest and all three are fairly small. My wife has one on her lower back, also pretty small. My cousin is a tattoo artist and did all of ours for free. He also did my wife's brother and another one of our friends. So, yes, we see nothing wrong with tattoos...
Mine in order of preferance:

I feel a more reserved tie would be better. If I buy a tie, I need to be able to wear it. I can not afford to buy a tie just to buy it, it has to be functional. But, that is just my take. How about a Serious Tie and a Fun Tie?
As a man, I must agree. I much prefer the natural look of higher waisted jeans. My wife and I were just talking about this the other day and we are glad lower waisted jeans are on the way out.
Yes, a majority of the classy, or expensive, restaurants are very lax in their rules for dress but there are still a few that require at least some semblance of fine dress. No holey jeans or cut-offs.
I was called in and interviewed but rejected because I was in college. It would have been a doozey of a case, too. Jealous boyfriend suspected of killing his girlfriend.
I agree with Griffer, less is more. I like the medallion as a pin and such but not the whole thing on a tie unless it appears only once at the bottom or something. Just my opinion.
I am also glad it worked out so well for you. Those old time guys really know what they are doing. Now that I have found my barber of choice, I just have to make sure he stays around a while. :)
So, what is this I hear about a web site? When will this puppy be coming along? I would prefer to visit the brick and mortar store but so far, that is impossible.
