    How vintage are we?

    I was born in January of 1990 so I just barely missed out on the 80s but got to experiance all of the 90s. The 90s weren't too bad, not for me at least (but then again I was a kid). I would consider the 30s and 40s to be vintage.

    What I have is pretty cool. Its a Crosely and it plays CDs, records, tapes, and has a built in radio. Its desinged to look like its from the 30s or 40s as well which is always good in my book. Edit: After looking at other folks posts I see I'm not the only one to have a Crosely, haha.

    Does anybody listen to Tom Waits? Or even heard of him? He has a bit of a vintage sound to him at times. He isn't big band, he sounds more bluesy or folksy but sometimes it'll just be him on a piano. His voice reminds me of a white Louis Armstrong, haha.

    I love music! Music is my life! I play guitar, bass, drums, and some sitar. I've been playing guitar and drums for about 6 years, bass for about 3 years and I've been playing sitar for less then a year. The sitar is such a cool instrument, even if I can hardly play the thing, haha.
