A decent representation of the various hats including models colors and variances is what we want, or so I believe. It could be used as a reference and as a tool for window shopping, comparisons when bidding etc. I for one would agree that some moderation would be invaluable and would expect...
lol, I understand
But tough love while fun actually doesn't work....well not on the intardnet. You should see some of the forums I frequent. One has close to 30,000 members and hundreds online at any time. The list of repeated topics is almost funny and the responses to them has become a tossup...
lol, I thought there was something odd about that smile.
Thanks Billy, and Gene I think we are on the same page..if not the same chapter. I have respect for the Owner, Moderators, Admins, and members here. I also do not hold the software against them. I am just not fond of some of...
Great shots...
I love looking at what the people taking the shots were doing. How they placed the hat on certain actors heads to get a certain effect or show more of the face. Some hats were even a size small to allow the viewers to see more.
Maguire, As a relative noob in the finer aspects of fedoras I too was hesitant about bashing the Fed. This even though I have been a employed as a fine craftsman for the last 20 years. When my hat arrived I got all my things together and went at it. I was a bit anal about the whole thing and had...
I have revised the hat etiquette that I use. This even though I am a Vet. and was train about hats before and after being in the service. My biggest change is when indoors and in a casual atmosphere I will normally look for a place to put my hat. If I notice that all the guys with ball caps have...
I believe in looking before asking repetitive questions....unfortunately the search function on this forum FAILS! So, I resort to using another search engine upon occasion when I know something is there but can not find it. This forum still could use a gallery. Considering how into posting...
The elevator was/ is a nice and vintage idea, but most forum software now has nice gallery add-ons. They are not as pretty as the elevator but they usually are searchable and some I have seen are cross indexed. So a gal, or fella could up their picture and say it's a fedora, Stetson, Whippet...
You know I almost can't think of what to say, and that might be better. Maybe I should have stayed up in hat territory where the past isn't being ruined in such a horrific way.
Then I saw that add slick with Will in the front of the boat and thought....maybe it wont be so bad. The original...
lol, Well I did say stood out....
Eraserhead wasn't good in the way other movies are. In fact I think I did bang my head against a wall. The thing is that it made an impression, a very strong one. In fact the impression, the shock, the horror of the imagery obviously sticks with those who...
I have always enjoyed this film and out of all the cowboy and war films John Wayne did I have always found it interesting that this was not only his best but my favorite.
I watched that stretcher knowing it was going to go for a couple more than I was willing to pay. I watched it and I really really wanted it, but I really don't have that type of money right now. It sure looks nice though......
