One thing I love is to find a beautiful vintage hat that's a bit too big for me. If it fits 'just right' to begin with it always seems to shrink a little bit as soon as you sweat in it or get it soaked through to the sweatband.- UWS Cowboy

Too Small?? Too big? Just right? or How to wear a hat!
I like them to be touching my ear on the lowest side (I wear it tipped to the side). I think it looks weird to wear a hat really high on the head.- UWS Cowboy

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?
Thank you, and I agree. It is my favorite cap. It is a "Capas" I purchased at Arnold Hatters. 35 dollars and it is a very sturdily made cap. It looks a bit blueish in person.- UWS Cowboy

Akubra break-in method?
I usually just wear them and keep messing with the bash. Depending on the stiffness of the hat, sometimes I crush the crown like it's dough to soften it up. I also wear my hats in heavy, heavy rain.- UWS Cowboy

I wish I could say, but since this is my first I'm not sure. Part of that "tight" feeling is just the suede sweatband, which is not really tight. It just grips my head very securely. It does have a very narrow bill, but I think it looks a little longer than my Hanna. Not sure, maybe I'm wrong, but it's definitely narrower.
