I LOVE that low pass one. It's almost unbelievable how low he is! At the Reading air show last year the Lancaster was there. 4 merlins roaring away! Merlin and the wright cyclone radials some of my favorite sounds. I had a ride in a B-17 and a B-24. Incredible! I call it Happy Noise...

I belong to the second oldest lodge in PA #43. The WM wears a top hat in the lodge I belong to or in all that I have visited. When we are at work of course.;)

The pilots clip board became wedged in the controls. That caused the crash. He was killed instantly. His name escapes me now but he was a experienced pilot.
:offtopic: When I was a scuba diver we were pulling up Kraigs from the USS San Diego sunk in 1918 off Long Island. Or should I say Kraig stocks as the metal was a line of rust in the stock.
To me it looks like the Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905. The foot solider looks like Japanesse infantry of the period. Not very Germanic. Most Russian WWI items I've seen have the Germans in pickalhaubes. The Calvary looks like a Cossack.
You serverd you country when it was needed. You did what was asked of you and more. You gave some of your life back to all of us. You defended freedom when it was needed. You did your job. I and many, many others do not look at that any different than those serving now. If needed you were...

They are almost identical to the US WWII overcoat. Same color and cut. The fabric is slightly rougher and the 1/2 belt in the back is slightly different.

Reminds me off the hairy Buffalo parties my rugby team had at collage. Everyone brought a bottle of something. Mixed it all together and  Did more damage than the game did. Thank goodness we were young and hard to kill!

B-25 What my grandfather flew in and was crew chief on.
B-17 Queen of the Skys!
Hurricane The workhorse fighter of the BoB.
C-47 A war winning plane if there ever was one.
ME 109 The clasic German fighter.
Reenacting as I see it
I'll venture a post as I have been involved in reenacting for a bit now. (But I am new to this forum)
I have seen many types of reenactors in this hobby of ours. Some just are out for the battles and to "burn powder" as it were. I have seen the persons interest...
