they are very similar, but I think it all comes down to the "heritage" element on the Banjo - rather like the Fed and the Fed Deluxe (again, essentially the same, but one a lot more money) - the Banjo is in the Heritage range, so has the better quality fur. I've never felt the two felts side... -

Quality of Photos
Light light and more light! (an stability!) Can't really comment on getting results with a point and click, as I shoot SLR (nikon) For me, I can get some great close up results with my various lenses, assuming subject is well lit and camera is on a tripod. That said, I also own some extension... -
