Might be too rugged but check out WEST COAST SHOE COMPANY - aka WesCo. Amazing custom made work boots from Scappoose, OR. Great example of a custom order website too. Get onto the Demo Build part of the website and build your boots. I wish Aero had this!
Ace,
I just measured and the 32" back length is from the seam at the collar to the end of the coat. Aero did an excellent job with the fit for me so I bet your's will fit well.
I stumbled upon Aero by searching for leather jackets on eBay. I mentioned them to a friend who knows more than me about leather jackets and he knew about Aero and said they were one of the best available. Obviously that was confirmed by the reputation it has among the members here.
Just for comparison of Brown and Vintage Brown, here's a photo of the standard (non-vintage) Brown FQHH Cheyenne (taken with the same camera with flash in about the same lighting). I returned this coat because Aero erroneously added storm cuffs. Since the were remaking the coat anyway, I...
My new Aero Cheyenne in vintage brown FQHH arrived today. Simply beautiful - great fit, great color, amazing leather.
A few specs
+ Size 40 Cheyenne in Vintage Brown FQHH.
+ Cheyenne pattern shortened by about 2 inches and I requested that it be a little slimmer than the standard pattern.

Looks like my new Vintage Brown FQHH Cheyenne is waiting at the PO for me!
Unfortunately I can't pick it up until tomorrow after 1pm. Well the wait just makes it better. I'll post pics in the next few days.
FYI, this is the replacement for the coat discussed in this thread -...
We've been getting to see a lot of Aero coats and jackets out the box. I for one would appreciate seeing photos after some wear, preferable years of wear. I know Aero has some pics on their site but its always nice to see others. A couple of members have posted photos, does any care to post a...
I'm looking forward to more pics of the Bootlegger. I'm still waiting on my Cheyenne but I'm thinking the Bootlegger may be next. I'd never even considered this jacket until I saw pics from HD and jack miranda. Very nice. Adam and Cooperson, have your jackets arrived?
Out of curiosity does...
Bob, I think I see what you're saying. The leather on your Brown FQHH Highwayman appears to have a deeper "marble". Thanks for the helpful photos.
Jan, Nice photos and very helpful comparison of the goat and FQHH. The goat hide looks TOUGH!
Very informative thread.
In reading the forum, I've noticed that there is some debate about the true difference between the "Vintage" and the "Non-vintage". I'm certainly interested to hear more. According to Aero, the ONLY difference is that the vintage version is "tumbled" for a longer period of time. I asked twice...
