Vintage DB notched-lapel suit spotted
Ha. Too funny. Haven't seen it in probably 15 years but, I also watched The Roaring 20's night before last and definitely noticed that suit as it's out of the ordinary. How small is small? There is definitely stuff out there. I remember a white 30's 3 piece suit (belt back and inverted pleats on patch pockets, way cool!) Vintage suit patterns
You'll probably end up paying anywhere from 6 to 20 times more for somebody to make you a suit vice buying vintage; especially if you're wanting something out of the ordinary. Vintage Spade Sole Shoes
These remind me of a pair I had (which I'd forgotten until I saw these) that were a little more orangy-brown and had a VERY pointy toe. Similar, but the ones I had were much more ornate. They were my size (8D) and fit beautifully although I just couldn't ever bring myself to wear them so, off to Japan they went. I just got the Crosley - Mission "Stack-o-matic" in the mail yesterday. Played 78's all night on it tonight. The 78's sound good.
