Any vintage alternatives to the trench coat?
I actually wore a trench coat a few times in high school. Every time it was in a heavy downpour, so there were no odd looks. I usually stuck to a peacoat, or my dad's old leather jacket. But everyone there knew me for my "different" tastes in clothing.- DavidJ

Overcoat on a budget?

Best option for for protecting fedora from heavy rain & snow?
I've learned a few new things from this thread. I don't mind wearing a vintage hat in the rain, if it's on my head when the rain starts. Like m0nk, I'll grab my Akubra if I know it will rain later on. They're great hats. -
