Good Evening, Edward. Here is a link where the Bogart is sold, but there are no photo images of the hat in each color, or even of the hat itself, just a color panel that tells you what colors they come in. Akubra calls it a "carbon grey."... -

Akubra Bogart arrived today! The fit and finish exude quality, although the felt is stiff. It has a nice edge brim and reminds me very much like the Stetson Sutley in size, shape and style. Oddly enough, while it fits my size 58 head, it is a tad tight along the sides and this surprised me... -

Although both of my fedoras have a raw edge, as I read and learn, I am more inclined now to prefer a welted edge - under or overwelt - like the Stetson Whippet or Windham, Akubra Stylemaster, Bogart, etc. I have not been able to find a Stetson Whippet. Are they vintage or is Stetson still... -
How do you grade Stetson quality?
When browsing through the Stetson inventory, I noticed that they grade the quality of their fedoras, i.e., Imperial, Sovereign, etc. As a newbie, I do not know what these grades mean. Which one is considered the best to the lowest quality? Those names are a bit misleading because they all... -

Does anyone know how the Stetson Windham differs from or compares to the Akubra Stylemaster or Bogart. All three are 2 1/5" bound edge brim and the crown heights are quite similar. Thanks. -

I gave up on trying to find twill tape and orderd a pugaree for $15.00 + $8.00 shipping from Australia. http://www.lawranceordnance.com/khaki-and-green/hats-and-caps-slouch-hat-accessories.html You just order the same size pugaree as your hat and it will fit as a hat band. It takes 10-14... -

Advice on a hat rack/coat rack?
:D How true! I have two long-haired Birman cats and they already have a fascination with my two brand new fur felt fedoras. So far I have been hanging them on a coat rack that is well beyond their reach, but I am looking for something that will hold more than two hats so I don't return home one...
